Ansager Å - Scenic stream not far from Billund
The water quality in the Ansager River is very high, making it a popular fishing spot. Anglers can catch brown trout, grayling, salmon and sea trout using spin, bait or fly. Grindsted Sports Fishing Association holds fishing rights on both sides of the river, except within the town of Ansager. In addition to the mandatory national fishing license for anglers aged 18–65, a special fishing permit for Ansager River is required, available through Grindsted Sports Fishing Association.

Ansager Stream is characterized by its beautiful, unregulated course through woods and meadows. The water quality is very high and the fishing waters are popular. You can fish for brown trout, grayling, salmon and sea trout with spin, worm and fly.
Grindsted Sports Fishing Association has fishing rights on both sides of the stream, however, parcels in Ansager city are excluded.
In addition to the compulsory fishing license all anglers between 18 and 65 must have to fish in Danish waters, you also need a special fishing card to fish in Ansager Stream. The fishing card can be purchased via Grindsted Sports Fishing Association.
