About Økolariet
A place where you can play your way to new knowledge about how our consumption affects our planet. Touch, feel, smell and taste your way through the many interactive experiences. Start by heading to the bottom of the sea. Here, nature is out of balance. There's too much algae, crabs and mud. And the fish are gone. What should we do?

A journey beneath the surface
Find out how much plastic is taking up space in the ocean. Animals choke on plastic. Others eat the small pieces of plastic floating around. Find out how many Danish herring have small pieces of plastic in their stomachs. Play with water and see what difference it makes whether water flows through a straight channel or a winding stream. Play and see if you recognise the leaves of trees. Watch an animation and understand why Denmark has such clean drinking water - yet. And visit the world of rats with a walk in the sewer. Fasten your seatbelt and try being flushed down the toilet and through the sewer system (in a simulator - don't worry). Continue into the mine and learn how we extract raw materials from the earth to produce the things we use in everyday life.
Free admission for everyone.
