Ibæk Beach

Enjoy a fantastic view of Vejle Fjord on the south side at Ibæk Beach. It is a handicap-friendly pebble beach with a playground, toilets, tables and benches, as well as a small ice cream kiosk.

Close to Munkebjerg Forest lies the cozy little beach, Ibæk Beach, which is more of an excursion destination than a classic bathing beach. There is a nice bathing jetty that extends into the fjord past the large stones, where the bathing facilities are good.

At the beach, you will find an ice cream kiosk – Det Lille Ishus – and a playground with a pirate ship, a stranded whale, and hammocks. There are also toilets, a barbecue area, a bonfire site with firewood, tables, and benches. So, there are great opportunities to enjoy your packed lunch with the family here and let the children play on the large lawn.

The facilities at the beach are handicap-friendly, with a ramp to the kiosk and toilets, a gravel path out to the stone setting by the water, and tables adapted for wheelchair users.

On the other side of the road, there is a parking lot with space for about 30 cars, and there are overnight accommodation options at a primitive campsite.
