Trapholt for children and families in autumn – Come and be creative with Kvium

As part of Michael Kvium’s exhibition Shadow Theatre, you can step into his universe during the autumn holiday. Dress up as one of his distinctive characters – or have a go at drawing your very own performer.

Step into Kvium’s universe
Enter Kvium’s fascinating world and transform yourself into one of his characters. In the exhibition hall, you will find plenty of props: put a red bucket on your head, slip into a giant tulle skirt, or try on a tall black hat. The only limit is your imagination!

Draw your own performer
What would your very own Kvium performer look like? Get inspired by the characteristic features – bald heads, long elf ears, striking noses, bulging thighs, and wrinkled stomachs. You can highlight special facial features or focus on what your performer should wear on their head. The museum provides paper and drawing materials.

Practical information
The activity takes place throughout the autumn holiday, October 11–19, 2025, every open day from 11 AM to 3 PM.
Participation is free once the museum entrance fee is paid. Children and young people under 18 have free admission.
