Autumn in Fredericia is a journey through history and nature.
The town was founded as a fortress city in 1650, and as you walk along the well-preserved ramparts today, you can almost hear the echoes of the past. Old stories tell how none other than Hans Christian Andersen shed a tear when he passed through Kongens Port, deeply moved by the city’s history. Perhaps you will feel the same?

From here, the path leads down to the Old Harbour, where the fortress of the past meets the vibrant life along the Little Belt today. Billund is world-famous as the Home of the Brick – and autumn makes the experience even more magical.
